Honest Mess
Situation
Codapop Recording Studios commissioned Headspace to design the CD Cover and Packaging of the pop/rock band, Honest Mess’ self-titled debut album.
Solution
We highlighted the imagery created in the song, Stanley’s Lot, which hypothesizes whether film director Stanley Kubrick shot the original moon landing. We had fun with this idea and created a package that shows the views from both perspectives, from the director’s point of view (the cover) and the astronauts point of view (the back). We provided art direction, design and pre-press production on the packaging, and worked with our favourite illustrator, Laura Cosham who brilliantly conveyed our vision.
