Situation
CapeRace is a boutique travel company specializing in upbeat, authentic, self-guided travel experiences at Canada’s most eastern island of Newfoundland. It has recently been recognized as a unique adventure by National Geographic, TourDust, Newfoundland & Labrador Tourism, Culture & Recreation and Canadian Heritage.
Strategy
They needed a new website to properly communicate their offering, and create compelling messaging to sell the experience. The website needs to be a “teaser”, giving enough information to intrigue the user and through strategic calls-to-action, inspire them to pick up the phone, or write an email, ultimately booking a trip.
Solution
The new website features a beautiful Newfoundland Tourism shot that sells the place, and throughout the website, there is plenty of information about the homes a visitor will stay in, things to do in the area, as well as information about travel packages. To preserve the “surprise” that a visitor will encounter with their stay, we created a “Sneak Peak” section, that shows random experiences and where they may happen on ‘the Rock’.
