Client: Active and Safe Routes to School
Project: Print collateral, website
Situation
Active & Safe Routes to School (ASRTS) is a comprehensive approach to increasing the use of active transportation by children and youth, and making it safer for them to do so.
Strategy
Headspace had produced a one-off piece for walk-to-school-week, and was then asked to re-brand the entire initiative. While keeping the logo of the national ASRTS intact - the Nova Scotia chapter uses a new design system to communicate the message of Active and Safe Routes to school.
Solution
Using custom photography, bright colours, and clean type, the brochure and website breathe new life into this initiative, and work towards increasing it’s effectiveness in the province. Read what the program coordinator, Janet Barlow, had to say about the experience.

“Working with Headspace Design on rebranding our program was smooth and painless. Kyle responded well to all my concerns and suggestions and he stayed on time with delivery of the final product. We wanted a professional, clean and grassroots look to our brochure and web site and this is exactly what we got. We'll definitely be working wtih Headspace again!”
