More and more people are seeking information and resources on body modifications, both inside and outside the industry. An unofficial “go-to” place for both artists and the general public to find the most accurate, up-to-date information on tattooing and piercing did not exist online. Tattoo Tree Inc. hired Headspace to design, develop and deploy a robust website to fill the void in information provided on this art form and become a one-stop shop for information on tattooing and piercing. Working closely with our client’s concept for the website, we designed a creative, but easy-to-use interface featuring Laura Cosham’s custom illustration. Built in ExpressionEngine 2 the site has public and member-only sections, an advanced ‘find-an-artist’ search tool, blogs, and a custom coded Block section where artists’ work is voted on.
