Website Design and Development

The Flux Lab at St. FX consists of talented young researchers who are developing instrumentation, modeling, and analytical strategies for measuring greenhouse gas production and soil emission. Headspace worked with Flux Lab to develop a new site highlighting work being done in the lab, showcasing the research team, and appealing to undergrads looking for a strong environmental science program. It pulls in data from field sites, so visitors can check out Flux’s latest projects in real time. The site is built in ExpressionEngine and uses some cool Javascript scrolling effects.

Key Team Members

[I] think the final outcome is both polished and innovative... Headspace did a great job of capturing our playful side, while also communicating "serious" and "professional"... I also appreciate the way Headspace team worked with my feedback, from high level design comments right down to the site's look on mobile phones, and debugging of server issues upon launch. Overall it was a very good experience, and I'm looking forward to our next project together.
